  time attending an advocacy or legislative day\, or you’ve done this 100x\
 , we know meetings with legislators can be intimidating. It’s important to
  remember that they were elected by you to represent YOU in the Florida Le
 gislature. This means that they want to and should hear from you and care 
 about what you think.\n\nWe hope this workshop can help answer any and all
  questions about our day in Tallahassee. \n\nHere’s what we’ll cover:\n\n 
  *   The goal of advocacy day: you get to meet with your legislators and s
 hare why CHWs are so important!\n  *   Logistics of where/when to be in Ta
 llahassee (time\, location\, parking\, etc.)\n  *   Schedule of what the a
 dvocacy day will look like\n  *   How to have a meaningful and productive 
 meeting with your legislators\n  *We’ll provide you with talking points an
 d give you printed materials to share with your legislators\n  *We will ma
 ke sure you feel confident to speak with your legislators!\n  *   And more
