2024 Florida Community Health Worker Summit

We are excited to announce that the 2024 Florida Community Health Worker Summit on July 11-12, 2024, will be held at the Adam W. Herbert University Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This year’s theme is Enriching Lives & Building a Lasting Community Health Worker (CHW) Workforce”. In its 12th year, this educational summit will bring together 200+ CHWs, Promotores, Community Health Advocates, Peer Support Specialists, Navigators, Health Educators, health care leaders, rural health practitioners, payers, public health professionals and allies. Join us in Jacksonville, Florida!

This year’s Summit aim is to exchange best practices and strategies that enhance CHW skills, and competencies, promote sustainability, and provide networking opportunities that help to expand the Community Health Worker workforce, and leverage partnerships.

The Florida Community Health Worker Coalition would like to honor outstanding individuals that are identified by their peers, community, supervisor as having consistently demonstrate care, excellence, and dedication in the role of CHW or have advocated for or advanced the CHW workforce.  Awards will be presented at the 2024 Florida Community Health Worker Summit - Award Luncheon "Honoring CHWs from Across Florida".
