WHAT IS A REGIONAL COORDINATOR?

The Regional Coordinator serves as the primary contact and representative for a geographical region, building relationships with prospective and existing Coalition members, facilitating information sharing between these members and the broader Coalition, its community partners, and coordinates training to build CHW capacity and supporting all regional efforts. Additionally, the Regional Coordinator may support the Coalition’s across other program areas – organizing collective advocacy to strengthen scope of practice of CHWs by facilitating a system of community engagement to connect communities and improve health outcomes.

HOW DO I BECOME A REGIONAL COORDINATOR?

The ideal candidate for this Volunteer role must have excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong strategic sense, and a keen attention to organization and detail. S/He should be a self-starter with a strong commitment to our mission to promote the CHW profession and have the ability to work across different cultural contexts, and a flexible schedule
