Practice and Professional Development Subgroup Committee
The Practice & Professional Development Committee (formerly the Curriculum & Practice Subgroup) stewards the professional standards, competencies, and continuing education infrastructure that define quality CHW practice in Florida. The Committee ensures that training, technical assistance, and practice resources remain current, evidence-informed, and responsive to the needs of CHWs and the communities they serve.

3. Scope of Authority
The Committee is authorized to review, recommend, and maintain continuing education standards, competency frameworks, and practice resources for Community Health Workers statewide.
